ISS45 Version 7.1.0.1-100-110 Release Table

Last updated April 3, 2006

See the Release Table below for a description of this planned release.

This table below describes the current plan for the new features and faults to be addressed in this scheduled software release.

Printing Instructions: many browsers do not support correct color and format printing directly from the Web.  For best results, with your cursor highlight the section of the table you wish to print and copy to the clipboard.  Then paste from the clipboard into a blank Word document and print the Word document to a color printer.

Enhancement or Fault Number

Item  Description

E. R. 711280501 A new parameter has been added that if set will require that all manager/supervisor approvals in ISS45 require a Manager Override scan card to be used at all times for acceptance. When the card is scanned the system will prompt only for a password and no longer request a Manager I.D. Please note when this parameter is set the system will not allow any manual entry of a manager or supervisor number.
WD 5069 If you have a member in the member file, and different types of promotions set up in the system, the receipt shows savings, but the Savings field in the member file never says anything but 0.00 - this system never populates this field.
WD 7808 U- Scan  - it appears that the addition of Member Holder Name prompt for Frequent Shopper card causes Customer Station to go into Direct Mode forcing manager intervention in order for customer to use Frequent Shopper card.

Scenario:

1. Scan Frequent Shopper card at any time - beginning,  middle or end of order at the robot

2. FS card is accepted correctly and shows on display

3. However a prompt for Member Card Holder  occurs and automatically puts the Customer Station to Direct Mode

4. This forces each order to go to Attendant Station to "C" clear holder name

5. Note: we turned parameters 6,1,3,8,1 #17 and 18 OFF and it made no difference

Expected Results: Ability to use Frequent Shopper card at Customer Station without any attendant or manager intervention

WD 7860

Running a sub-department report causes a 4 GB file to be created

Scenario:

1. System V7.1.0.1_50, go to screen 1-1-1-6-1 (Sub department reports)

2. Note that the screen does not open immediately but will after a long delay

3. This happens whether you have created sub-departments or not (screen 1-6-1-2)

4. Check the c:\pcmaster\seq directory and you will see a file SCKSUBRP.SEQ has been

created and it is 4 GB in size (4,294,970,496)

5. If an EOD is run MFS1 will appear to hang when in fact it is coping this 4 GB file over to MFS2

Expected Results: Entering a report screen does not start any report building process

Actual Results: Entering the sub-department screen causes a 4 GB file to be built

WD 7885

U-Scan - Keylock required is getting the U-Scan stuck in invalid keylock status

Scenario:

1. set a control check to require supervisor keylock

2. On the U-Scan, invoke the CC set up

Expected Results: the CC will not require a key on the U-Scan

Actual Results: the CC requires a key on the U-Scan and will not let you continue without a keylock.

WD 7887

If you are using the Compact print feature, when you print the front of the check, the print is set back to normal print. You must Resume Printer (function 833) in order to get Compact print back. TP2K with Epson H6000 printer. Buffer print and using the MICR doesn't affect the bug either way. Happens with those features on and happens with them off.

Scenario:

1. Set parameter to use Compact Print

2. Set Check Tender to Print Front of Check

3. If you bypass the front, the Compact print remains.

4. If you print the front of the check, the print is set to normal and a resume printer is needed to get Compact print back.

Expected Results: Compact print should remain no matter what is happening at the POS

Actual Results: Print is set back to normal after printing front of check.

WD 7905 TPG 758 printer locks up during a MICR read function as follows:

1. Failure occurs when a MICR read check tender is rejected and followed by a tender that requires a multi-part receipt, on a system where the specified printer is a TPG  758.

2. Doesn't fail if specified printer is an TPG 7156.

 3. Doesn't fail if buffered print is turned off

4. Doesn't fail if MPR number is set to zero, or if multi-part receipt setting is set to none on the second tender.

 5. Doesn't fail if check number is manually entered, instead of MICR being read.
