Item  Description

This enhancement will increase the usability of V7 Group Promotions by adding a feature to assign a new single group price to a group of qualified variable priced items. (Pick 5)

      Adding �New Price� Reward Type to Group Promotions

      Supporting �New Price� for Group Type �Units�

      Adding and supporting Limited Quantity field for New Price reward type only.

      Supporting other existing fields in Group Promotions.

      Supporting �New Price� for Group Promotions in General Batches.

      Adding New Price promotion totals to �TTL ENHANCED PROMOTIONS� in �Your Savings Today�.

      Generate and archive new XML detail report.

      �New Price� delayed promotion.

Note: Use of promotion and report requires a Software Key Upgrade

Add a criterion to the Print Template Every X Customers feature. 

The customer counter should only be incremented when the customer spends more than $X (in this case $20).  If the customer spends more than $X then increment the counter.  Once the counter equals the preset counter value (750) then print the template, and reset the counter.

Foreign currency - Specify the format to be used in the Media section of the Cashier Report � specifically in the (pickup) column. Specify that it follow the format used in the Media section of that report (picked up column {$.$$}  = {exchange rate}  @    {computed face value of foreign currency}.

The executable pcmcsrep.exe to output data in the format specified (based on this command line: pcmcsrep /Fcashier /curr � which outputs report.csv).

Add a parameter -  Apply idle locking to PIN pad � Store/Post/WinEPS/EFT\Apply Idle locking to PIN pad.

When the Interval message/Idle Lock is called we lock the MSR which prevents a customer, either the current or the next, from sliding their card or starting a transaction until the cashier initiates one.  There are times when a customer will slide their card, complete the current transaction, and then either through confusion they will slide at the next prompt, if slide card first is the first action.  The next customer will come through and select a payment and finalize the transaction with the last card slide, in this case the previous card holder�s info.  This prevents that from happening.

When attempting to view a record of type 28 or 38 (link segment to promotion and vice-versa) in V7 General Batches, there are four "red bar" errors.

Scenario:

1. Place batch 16 (attached) in C:\PCMASTER

2. In the BackOffice, view the batch (1-11-1)

3. Open one of the type-28 or type-38 records 

Expected Results:

The record should open and display the information 

Actual Results: Four "red-bar" error messages appear. After they are cleared, PCM continues to work as normal.

Cannot change the POST number through the Tech Start Menu, the system doesn't reboot after you press the second ENTER it just stays on the screen. The POST number is changed in the DRVFILE Parameters and if you restart the POST it will come up with the  POST number you entered however the NETWORK TCP/IP Properties are not changed.  Gives a POSWR32 C++ error

With check flip checked in the POST configuration screen, the check is starting its print approximately 2" from the left side of the check.  This can not be adjusted in the template file.

EOD - screen 6,1,1,5 page 3 - do NOT select to print Member Promotion report. However, at EOD report still prints regardless.

Scenario:

1.Create an order at the POST that includes a member promotion in the order

2.EOD reports - do NOT select to print Member promotions

3.Run EOD and see that report prints anyway

Make sure your members have a second ID. You will be able to find members 1 thru 48 using the Member Search function by entering in the second id.

When trying to search for member 49 or higher, the pos cannot find them.

If you type numbers into member card entry, it works. It is using the second id search that cannot go past member 48. I increased the t_cust.qdx on the WinPoS, but this did not help.

WPFUNC_is_key_hit and WPFUNC_system_key do not work with the MORE key

Scenario:

 While waiting for some event to take place (i.e. waiting on a PIN pad entry, etc), a programmer may check to see if a key has been hit by the operator, using a function called WPFUNC_is_key_hit()  to allow a CLEAR or something to take place.

When a key is detected, the programmer then uses a function called WPFUNC_system_key() to determine what key is depressed. If the key is not to his liking, he continues in this loop, waiting for the event to occur, or another operator intervention.

 The problem occurs on a Soft Key Post when a key such as MORE is depressed. The action is reported to the programmer via WPFUNC_is_key_hit() , but no key is returned with the WPFUNC_system_key() until the operator presses some other 'true' key. Thus the waiting routine is stuck in the WPFUNC_system_key() function until the operator presses an action key and consequently can't continue to monitor his event. A change should be made that a 'non-key' such as MORE or possibly EMPTY, or any other that won't be returned via the WPFUNC_system_key(), should not trigger a positive response to the WPFUNC_is_key_hit() function.

Dual drawer, drawer intermittently released (not opened) at automatic sign off and should not be

Scenario:1. Set up post with dual cash drawers

2. At screen 6-1-4-1 in the post configuration put check marks next to "Drawer in use" and    "Dual Drawer enabled"

3. At screen 6-1-2-2 set as done in the attached file

4. Sign on as cashier 101, ring a sale and then sign off but do NOT release the drawer

5. Sign on as cashier 102, ring  a sale and then sign off but do NOT release the drawer

6. Wait the 5 minutes, cashier 102 should be automatically signed off.

7. Try to sign on as cashier 103, this should not be allowed as both drawers are in use

Expected Results: If using a dual drawer setup and a cashier is automatically signed off that cashiers drawer should not be released.

Actual Results: When using a dual drawer setup and a cashier is automatically signed off that cashiers drawer will intermittently be released.

The 2 x 20 display on a 92R keyboard is intermittently loosing data.  Ring up some items and the keyboard display will show the item description but the price will stay the same as the previous item.  Other times the price will change but the description stays as the name of the last item.  This was an old problem on a TeamPoS 5000 machine.

Scenario:1.  Use a 2 x 20 keyboard display on a 92R keyboard and attach to com4 on the TeamPoS 2000 S.

2.  Ring up items and watch the display

3.  The display does not update with all the information at times.  Ex:  Price, Description of previous item left.

Expected Results: Items update 2 x 20 keyboard display properly

Actual Results:  Updates on 2 x 20 keyboard display leave some of previous item description or price on the display

Date of alert incorrect on IPAD. My time on my server is May 12, 2005 8:05 amyl time on my POST is May 12, 2005 8:05 am. My time on my IPAD is May 12, 2005 8:05 am. Dropped to the desktop and started the WinPoS back up The alert on my alert on RMA indicates Power Up /ReBootSystem Alert #30 on 09/05/34Power Up / ReBoot

Scenario:1.Rma cashier notification in general system parameters enabled.

2.System alert 30 powerup\reboot active.

3.Use Alt f4 to kill WinPoS and restart WinPoS

Expected Results: Alert with correct date on IPAD.

Actual Results: Alert generated on IPAD with a date of 09\05\34.

In 7.1.0.0-050 alerts are not sent to IPAD.  Control checks were being sent, but after attempting to send Alerts, CC's were no longer received by IPAD.

Scenario:

1. Upgrade to 7.1.0.0-050

2. At POS throw System or User Alert, example alert 5000. 

Expected Results: Alerts received by IPAD. 

Actual Results: No alerts sent to IPAD. Event viewer shows errors

Sale batch incorrect department number forces dept num field entry on all additional item in batch.

Scenario:1. Go to screen 1-5-1

2. Select NEW, enter batch number, select OK

3.  Change BATCH CODE to SALE and depress ENTER

4. Key in valid UPC number and depress ENTER or TAB until you reach the DEPARTMENT field

5. Key in a department number that does NOT exist on your system and depress ENTER, for example:   you have departments 1 thru 45 on your system but you key in 100 by mistake

6. You depress SHIFT+TAB to move back to the department number field and then depress DEL or    BACKSPACE to remove the 100 from this field and then depress ENTER to move to the next field

7. The 100 re-appears in the department number field so you repeat step #6 and it re-appears again

8. You enter a valid department number, for example: 1; if you put a 0 (zero) in this field and try to  save the entry by depress in the F2 key you get an error that the department is not found, you are    forced to put in a valid department number

9. You depress the F6 key to ADD another item to the batch

10. Repeat steps #3 and 4 above but do NOT enter anything in the DEPARTMENT field this time

11. When you complete this item and depress F2 to save you get an error saying the department was not found

12. You are forced to put a department number all additional items in this batch

Expected Results: You can correct a wrong department number during the creation of any batch  without being forced to enter the department number for every additional item added to the batch

Random weight item canceled before scanning freq shopper card does not remove discount

Scenario:1. Turn on Frequent Shopper, screen 6-1-2-5 #1

2. Create a random weight item, UPC2, see attached

3. Add a discount amount of $1.00 to the UPC2 just created, see attached

4. Start an order but do not enter the frequent shopper number

5. With some weight on the scale ring up the item twice and then do an item cancel

6. Swipe or enter the frequent shopper number

7. Finalize the order

8. The system will give a $2.00 discount instead of $1.00

Expected Results: Frequent shopper discounts on UPC2 items are not given if the item has been removed/cancelled from the order when the frequent shopper card number is entered in the middle of the order

Need to remove any calls for Asp huks that are in any bat files in ISS45. They are not used or needed anymore. Remove from EOD.

Frequent Shopper Card -  When you scan a Frequent Shopper Card at the beginning of transaction.  U-Scan  tells you to place the item on the bag. There is no item, just a Frequent Shopper Card.

Scenario:

1. Scan Frequent Shopper at the beginning

2. System tells you to place the item on the bag 

Expected Results: Should accept as Frequent Shopper Card. 

Actual Results: The U-Scan accept Frequent Shopper as an item when you scan at the beginning.

Reprint of return transaction using Epson single head printer causes register to lock up

Scenario:

1. Run a transaction that has a return in it with a multi-part receipt

2. Reprint this transaction

3. Multiple stores in Canada reporting this problem when using a single head Epson H6000 printer

 Expected Results: Reprint any transaction

Actual Results: Reprint using single head Epson H6000 printer causes register lockups

PLU follow department flag as default does not work for Restriction Layout

Scenario:1. 6-1-1-7-#7 CHECK PLU follow department flag as default.

2. 6-1-2-11 Make sure restriction set up (optional)

3. 1-6-1-1 Set up a department with Restriction Layout of 1. Set up another department with no Restriction Layout.

4. 1-4-1 Choose a PLU.

5. Change the dept to the no restriction dept.  <-- should change to 0 if not already 0.

6. Change the dept to the restriction layout 1 dept.  <-- should change to 1.Note: Only Negative-entry department, Non-merchandise department, Payment by Food Stamps, Payment by WIC, Allow Discount, Cost-Plus department, Tax Rates, and Restriction Layout will change the PLUs. PLUs must be newly linked to dept to follow its flag settings. Changes made to dept after PLU already linked to dept will not be updated.

Expected Results: Restriction layout will change based on the attached dept

Actual Results: Restriction layout does not change.

Set the PLU Batch Type to Super 400 byte. Create a Local Batch. Item description is not echoed on the screen when creating the batch. When you try to print the batch, the item description and number does not show on the screen or print out. Other batch types, 145 and 256 work fine.  

Expected Results: Item information should be echoed on the screen if all parameters are set too and also should print on the batch report.  

Actual Results: No item description or item number is seen on the screen or on the printed report.

rcopy32 MFS1 to MFS2 causing file time stamp to change by one hour during daylight savings, on systems with 3 months worth of files in the bak directory the EOD can be extended as much as an hour because all files are copied from MFS1 to MFS2 every night 

Expected Results: The rcopy32 with /sdt parameter should not cause a files time stamp to change during daylight savings

Actual Results: During the EOD rcopy32 is coping all files from the bak directory from MFS1 to MFS2 during daylight savings

Create Cashier with DOB as 1/10/1988. Set up Restricted Sales for a Department with Cashier age validation in use. Age for Cashier is 18 with a CC. Make sure Date format is set to American. With the DOB for the cashier at 01/10/1988, that cashier is 18. POS will not allow the cashier to sell from Restricted Department. If you change the DOB to 1987, it will work. OR if you change the DOB to 10/01/1988 it will work. However in American date format, this cashier is not 18 yet.

Expected Results: Cashier Age Validation should be validated with American date format as set in the Parameter

Actual Results: Age seems to be validating on EuropEAN date format even though American is selected.

ISS45 and WinEPS using an authorization number - second copy has a corrupted number.

Scenario: Use an existing EBT WinEPS payment template from ISS45 that is set for multi-receipt

1. Modify this template to add an authorization number of 12345

2. Ring up an order with a few Food Stamp items

3.Tender the order using EBT tender and WinEPS PIN pad and WinEPS simulator

4.The system will generate two receipts

5.Notice that the store receipt prints the authorization number 12345 correctly

6. However, the customer copy of the receipt prints the authorization number 12345AA7. The addition of the AA to any authorization number on the customer copy is consistent every time

Expected Results: The authorization number should not have extra AA printed on the customer receipt copy

Actual Results: Authorization number has two extra digits AA on the customer receipt copy

Menusys.xml exit to WinPoS function does not work

Scenario:

1. Using the XML Menusys tool, when at State=29 (Idle mode) you can not exit WinPoS

2. Rename the c:\program files\posware\WinPoS\Menusys.mac to *.old

3. Copy the attached Menusys.XML into the c:\program files\posware\WinPoS directory

4. Restart WinPoS

5. At the idle screen there are two "Exit WinPoS" keys, neither one will work

6. The firs "Exit WinPoS" button (in position 5) is using function 1081, the other button

    (in position 9) is using function 1

7. Rename c:\program files\posware\WinPoS\Menusys.xml to *.x

8. Copy the attached Menusys.MAC into the c:\program files\posware\WinPoS directory

9. Restart WinPoS

10. At the idle screen depress the "Exit WinPoS" key and it works

11. The "Exit WinPoS" key in the Menusys.MAC file is using function 1

12. If you copy the attached Menusys.XML onto a V8 system the key in position 5, which

      is using function 1081, will work correctly, but the key in position 9, which is using

     function 1, will not work 

Expected Results: You can exit to WinPoS from the idle screen when using a Menusys.XML file 

Actual Results: Can not exit to WinPoS from the idle screen when using a Menusys.XML file

WD 7980

Larger checks 3 1/2" by 8 1/2" work with ECC and get the Void printed on the front of the check.  Using the standard personal checks 2 3/4" by 6" do not get the void template printed.

Scenario:1.  Use a large check for ECC and it prints the void template on the front ok

2.  Use a standard personal check 2 2/3" by 6" and the void does not get printed.

Expected Results: Normal and large checks should all work with ECC

Actual Results:  Only large checks work correctly with ECC

Edit box does not open for 20 seconds when attempting to exit secure mode 

Scenario:

1. XPe, single monitor, TP2K, 92R keyboard

2. Load the attached QDX files on POS1

3. Keys on keyboard - Sign on/off = F1, Secure/Break = back space, No = Esc, Yes = F9, Enter = Enter, Clear = ALT+F4

4. Sign on as operator 3, password 0

5. Depress the Secure/Break key

6. Depress Secure/Break and then No repeatedly always checking for the edit box next to ENTER PASSWORD

7. Note - When the edit box does not appear you can either:     A) Wait 20 seconds (approx.) and it will appear on its own     B) Depress the CLEAR key and the box will appear     C) Key in the users password and depress ENTER

8. This problem also occurs during a pick up at the register but is very hard to reproduce

9. QDX file from post and screen shots of problem attached

Using Remote/Forced Log Off causes errors on the operator performance report

Scenario:

1. Set secure mode time to zero (0), screen 6-1-2-2, Secure Mode #1 = 0

2. Set store as 24 hour trading, screen 6-1-1-4 page 3 #1

3. Sign on cashier, ring and tender one order, walk away for 30 minutes

4. Perform force sign off of cashier, screen 1-2-3, and then sign right back on

5. Allow EOD to run automatically, wait 30 minutes and then sign cashier off

6. Run location report (screen 1-1-3-1 #11) and operator performance report     (screen 1-1-3-1 #9)

7. Note operator "sign on time" on operator performance report appears with     dashes in it; example -5:-32:-, see attachment OperPerf1.pdf

8. Sign on cashier, ring and tender one or more orders

9. Perform force sign off of cashier, screen 1-2-3, and then sign right back on

10. Run operator performance report two or three time in a row (screen 1-1-3-1 #9)

11. Note operator "sign on time" on operator performance report appears with dashes in it; example -5:-32:-, see attachment OperPerf2.pdf

Make sure you do not have display Constant Weight turned on in the post configuration.

Set the Extended Balance Due screen to Food Stamps (6 1 2 1 2 #1) This will add the running Food Stamp total on the left side of the cashier screen.

 As you ring up FS Items, this total increments. If you return FS items, in the same sale the total decreases.

 Problem is, if you return Food Stamp items out of a sale rather return item or return transaction, the FS Total remains at zero.

PSI - Crew Club being rejected by terminal when scanned first in the order.

Scenario:

1.At the beginning of a new transaction, scan the Club Card. When the card is the 1st item in the order, the terminal sends a generic reject message. 

2.If you scan an item first and then the Club Card, the terminal locks up and never responds.

3.If an item is scanned ,press the total key and then scan the card the card is accepted.

Expected Results: Club Card should function in scenario's 1 & 2 above.

Actual Results: Club Card use PSI to become unusable.

At the POS ring PLU Item 2.50 two times. Ring up zero priced PLU once. Total is 2.50 which is correct. Ring up one more PLU item 2.50 and the total goes weird. The more of the PLU item that is 2.50 you ring up, the worse it gets. If you change the zero priced PLU to .01, the results of the test are correct and it works like it should. Only if the PLU is zero price are the results incorrect.

Expected Results: If you ring up the item for 2.50 twice and the zero priced plu, you get 2.50 reward. This is correct. If you ring up more of the 2.50 item, it should ADD 2.50 to the total.

Actual Results: If you ring up MORE of the 2.50 item after the reward was given and not ring up zero priced plu, the POS total goes more and more negative.

After changing terminal number the register does not auto boot

Scenario:1. Set manager key to position 5 and reboot the terminal

2. At the Techmenu screen select #2 to change the register number

3. Change the register number and accept the change

4. The screen turns all gray but the register does not auto boot as it in the past

5. QA 771_56 system works properly, testing performed on 7101_110 and    7100_100 did not

6. If you reboot the register the terminal number has been changed, the   terminal should have re-booted itself

Expected Results: After changing the terminal number and accepting the change the terminal should re-boot automatically

Actual Results: After changing the terminal number and accepting the change the terminal did NOT re-boot automatically

Dark bar appears on display when Dual_VGA=Simulate in WinPOS.INI 

Scenario:

1. Use the attached WinPOS.INI file

2. Dual_VGA=Simulate is being used

3. At cashier sign on watch screen and a dark bar appears, vertically,

    just off center on the right top of the screen

Changing the Dual_VGA setting in WinPOS.INI to No or Yes removes this bar 

Expected Results: No extra bar appears on the screen using Dual_VGA=Simulate

Actual Results: A dark bar appears on the screen using Dual_VGA=Simulate

When perform PLU Inquiry of Black Hawk Gift Card and press NO to not ring up the card in the order, ring an item then cancel the item and finalize sale, will activate the gift card even though it was not rung up in the sale. Duplicated using 9950 Scanner/Scales and Welch Allen handhelds.  

Scenario:

1. Press PLU Inquiry at the Post and scan Black Hawk Gift Card.

2. Press NO to not ring up in order.

3. Ring 1.00 in Grocery, then error correct that leaving the balance at 0.00

4. Finalize order, Gift Card will Activate although it was not purchased in the order. NOTE: This also happens for regular gift cards (mag stripe) if card is scanned on the PIN pad. The cashier IS prompted to swipe the card when they should not as the Price Inquiry was answered with a NO.  

Expected Results: Price Inquiry and press NO of gift card should not think it is rung up in the order. Pressing YES adds an item to the order.

Actual Results:  Card is activated although it was not added to the sale.

Operator Performance report reporting items ring incorrectly. Other time is being added to Item reg instead of into idle time. 

Scenario:

1. sign on

2. Ring up 10 items in 20 seconds.

3. Do an X report - added 5 seconds

4. Do a No sale - added 5 seconds

4. sign off 

Expected Results: Item ring will show 20 seconds in the report. the time that is other time (x-read report and no sale) needs to be added to Idle time  

Actual Results: Item ring show 30 seconds in the report. Other time is added to the items ring time, and by that reducing the performance of the cashiers.

Demo App (Alt + [D]) stops the clock. Screen saver and EOD will not start when this is on.

Scenario:1. Make sure you have EOD set to run in the next 5 minutes

2. On the sign on screen hit Alt D (you will see the connected services button)

 3. Wait for end of day to kick in.

Expected Results: end of day will start

Actual Results: end of day does not start.

The Logo is defined in U-Scan but none of the receipts are showing it.  Also the Header Message from ISS45 is not showing at the beginning of the receipt either.

Scenario:1.  Ring several orders on the U-Scan customer station and you will not see a LOGO or the Header information.  The receipt just starts with the items.  The trailer is being printed correctly.

Expected Results: The LOGO defined on U-Scan should be printed along with the ISS45 Header

Actual Results: The Logo and the Header are not being printed at the start of the U-Scan orders

Multi-Gift Card activation when Gift Card PLU Voided (Using Delayed Gift Card Authorization)

Scenario:1. Ring up an order with multiple gift card PLUs (BlackHawk gift cards, ring one at a time) and then void the gift card PLUs sometime in the order

2. Tender out the order using cash

3. An Approved gift card receipt is still printed for some of the voided gift cards and they are approved on WinEPS

4. If you use the X (Qty) key; i.e.

4 X Gift Card PLU and Void 4 X Gift Card PLU the gift cards do NOT appear in the order nor do they get activated.

New Back Office parameter.  "Minimum amount of transaction to be included in customer count" location 6-1-3-11 #18 does not update POS after EOD.

Scenario:1. Create file and insert new values for customer count, template name, and dollar

2.  Do end of day

3.  Replace the existing values with new ones.

Expected Results: Update the back office and POS.

Actual Results :POS does not update

Subtract & Cancel report @ EOD too large, fields missed when printing report

Scenario:1. Create managers card - EAN13, 8888sssscccc(c)    where ssss = store number (4 digits required)   cccc = cashier\manager id (4 digits required)               (c)    = check digit

2. Screen 6-1-2-1-3 check item #12 "Password required with cashier bar code"

3. Screen 1-6-6, #4 = SVR keylock required, privilege 2; #5 = same as #4; #6 = Manager keylock    required, privilege 2; #7 = Ask Yes/No, privilege 7; #8 = Ask Yes/No, privilege 3

4. Create cashier without privilege 2 and sign-on as that cashier

5. Ring a small sale and Subtract (void) one item from the sale, when asked for the manager id    use managers card created in step 1 above, sign off the cashier

6. Run a manual EOD and then view and print the Subtract & Cancel report (screen 1-1-5-5 #51)    note that the cashier name appears but the Authorized column is blank

7. Screen 1-6-6, #6 = Ask Yes/No, privilege 7

8. sign-on as cashier created in step #4 above and repeat step #5 above

9. Run a manual EOD and then view and print the Subtract & Cancel report (screen 1-1-5-5 #51) note that the cashier name does not appear and that the Authorized column is blank

10. Leave parameters as set and sign-on as cashier created in step #4 above, ring a small sale and subtract (void) one item from the sale, when asked for the manager id hand key in      using the same manager as on the managers card created in step 1 above, sign off the cashier

11. Run a manual EOD and then view and print the Subtract & Cancel report (screen 1-1-5-5 #51) note that the cashier name does appear but that the Authorized column is blank.

Expected Results: Both the Authorized and Signature columns on the Subtract & Cancel  report should be listed when the report is printed

Actual Results: Both the Authorized and Signature columns on the Subtract & Cancel report  are not printed but can be viewed (screen 1-1-5-5 #51), see attached EOD zip file and look at the 15 Oct. date report and then print that report.

No Balance Due printing on the receipt when using EAN 99 Cpn and Order/Level promotion.

Scenario:1. Link Plu 9 with EAN 99 Cpn and Order/Level promotion.

2. Ring Plu 9 three times

3. Discount given

4. Tender the order

 Scenario: 1. See above problem description. Running V7.1.1.1-050 2. 3. 4. 5. Expected Results: Terminal should startup from a power off condition without this hang up problem  Actual Results: Terminal hangs after coming up from a power off condition and appears to drop off of LAN monitoring

Latest version of LogCollector.exe included in this release

Scenario:

1. Version 1.0.0.1 included with release v7120_030

2. Newer version, 1.0.0.2, releases with 8120_050

3. Version 1.0.0.2 will also run under v7120 please update version of LogCollector.exe for 7120_050 release

4. This same version, 1.0.0.2 will run on all servers and POSTs

MEMBER SEARCH (fcode 1036) will not find Secondary ID unless User Hooks in System = Yes.  This is a problem as no hooks are in system. 

Scenario:

1. (1-10-2) Member Maintenance. Create a member and add a secondary ID (phone number)

2. Create a key for MEMBER SEARCH (fcode 1036)

3. Press the MEMBER SEARCH key

4. Enter the phone number at the secondary ID prompt

5. Get error message that ID is not found6. (6-1-3-4-1) User Hooks in System = Yes

7. Press the MEMBER SEARCH key

8. Enter the phone number at the secondary ID prompt - Member is found. 

Expected Results: Since no user hooks are in system, secondary ID search will work with this parameter off. 

Actual Results: ser Hooks in System must be Yes for the secondary ID search to locate members.

Receipt indicates approved when gift card activation is declined 

The Problem :  Scanned a 30 digit Best Buy card.  Paid the order with cash and then got a decline on activation.  The message popped up to indicate the Gift card activation failed message like it should.

The receipt shows Gift Card Request Denied but the receipt shows Gift card activation with approved.

Scenario:

  Scan a gift card and get a decline then look at the customer receipt information

Expected Results: Should not print the word approved on the receipt with beginning balance and ending balance. 

Actual Results:  Prints approved on the receipt for a decline activation

The device tester is showing that the MICR reader is reading the MICR on the check properly.  ISS45 is failing a lot when cashing checks.  It seems to be a timing problem with ISS45 and the TPG A776 printer.  If you do not pull the check out of the printer within 1 second after the check has been read and the printer releases the check, it seems to give a Fail to read check account.

Scenario:

1.   Run a check order and tender with a check requiring a MICR read

Leave the check in the reader for about 1 2 seconds after the printer releases it.  You should get the error Fail to read check account. 

Expected Results: The check should be read by ISS45 more than it is based on the tester reading the check every time but ISS45 fails more then 25-50% of the time. 

Actual Results: The tester reads the check every time but ISS45 fails more than 25-50% of the time.

With parameter 6-1-2-1-4 (4) Verify weight changes at last key-stoke checked you get a Scale Comm. Error ringing weighed items on U-SCAN in direct mode. 

Using U-SCAN version 27 

Scenario:

1.  Set parameter 6-1-2-1-4 (4) Verify weight changes at last key-stoke checked

On the U-SCAN customer station go to direct mode and ring a weighed item (4011Enter)

You will get a popup that says Scale COMM. Error / Hit (C) to Continue.  If you uncheck the Verify weight changes at last keystroke parameter, the transaction will work correctly. 

Expected Results: You should be able to ring up a weighed item in direct mode whether the above parameter is checked or not 

Actual Results: Can't ring an item in U-SCAN direct mode if the above parameter is checked.
