ISS45 Version 7.1.3.0-140 Release Table

See the table below for a description of the new features provided and faults addressed in this release. 

Printing Instructions: many browsers do not support correct color and format printing directly from the Web.  For best results, with your cursor highlight the section of the table you wish to print and copy to the clipboard.  Then paste from the clipboard into a blank Word document and print the Word document to a color printer.

LaneHawk (Evolution Robotics) system integrated with ISS45 V7. This feature requires a position on the software key.

 

  • POS works with LaneHawk alerting Cashier of Bottom of Basket items.

  • Cashier can add or clear from LaneHawk screen or Scan items to be matched against items on LaneHawk screen.

  • Within the Electronic Journal the user can search for the following LaneHawk detected transactions

    • Full UPC Matched Items Added

    • Mfg / Partial UPC Matched Items Added

    • Detected Items Cleared

     

Note – Screen 6-1-3-14 is the new LaneHawk parameters.
WD 12685 Forgive Tax Not Working With Multiple Tax Rates With Foodstamps

Scenario:

1. Setup two items both food stampable, one with a high tax rate and one with a low tax rate

2. Set Forgive Tax on F/S partial tenders by highest tax to yes

3. Ring up both items

4. Cash out with food stamps

Expected Results: Tax should be forgiven on both items

Actual Results: Tax is only forgiven on one item.

If parameter is set to no the system works.

Symbol character in XML report causes error when trying to open the report with Windows Explorer

Scenario:

1. V7.1.3.0-130, Create a New Price promotion (see "009154_FSD_V7 new price Group promotion" doc)

use "P&G" for the promotion description; i.e. Proctor & Gamble

2. Run a transaction using this promotion

3. Run an EOD

4. The text report can be opened with no problem using Windows Explorer

5. The XML report (MP0308.XML) causes an error when opened with Windows Explorer -

"A semi colon character was expected. Error processing resource....."

6. Text files in MEMPROM.ZIP at EOD, XML files in MEMXML.ZIP at EOD

7. Check how we handle the ampersand (&) and the double quotes (") in the XML

Expected Results: The XML report should not error on any symbol character used for the promo description

Actual Results:The XML report gets an error due to the "&" symbol

Pick 5 promotion adding money back into sale.

Scenario:

1. V7.1.3.0-130, use the attached QDX files, q-dex.prm and promotions

2. Parameters set for no buffer printing and for total key to print subtotal every time (this just made it easier to see the problem where as with buffer printing on and the receipt fixed up you didn't see it actually happen)

3. Ring up items 1, 2, and 3; then ring up items 1300200100, 1300200101 & 1300200102

4. Ring up items 99, 98, 97, 96, 95, and 94

5. Ring up items 1300200103 and then 1300200100

6. Depress TOTAL and then the clear key

7. Ring up items 501000 & 501001; then items 100 & 101 followed by item 501002

8. Depress TOTAL and then the clear key

9. All is A-OK to this point

10. ring up item 1300200102, item 100, 101 and 102

11. Depress TOTAL, the PICK 5 promo ADDs $0.99 to the order (in this scenario due to the price of the items being used, different item prices give a different amount added into the order).

12. Post with 92R keyboard, single display, Epson printer w/OPOS

Expected Results: A Pick 5 promo should not add back to the order

Actual Results: A Pick 5 promo adds money to the order
