Fault Express #Bug00090 - DOS date input - requires 4 digit for year NOT 2 digit - Closed as 'no problem'

The following fixed issues, do not have Fault Express tracking numbers:

1. Member promotions: Allows you to enter 00/00/00 for the end date, which marks the promotion as an active one.

2. When trying to empty the customers record with general batch (action 50), it only emptied the index file (Nr 50), not therelative file (Nr 51).

3. Cashier Loan <1,3,1,1> and POS Loan <1,3,2,1>: Do not allow loan if no tender is in the list.

4. Checksum routine didn't work properly at EOD.

5. Sub Department batches in V7 didn't update V8.

6. User defined PLU profitability report <1,1,2,2,5>: The default for Mark-up % and Margin % in the Minimum Value column didn't show a minus sign.

7. EOM didn't delete old member promotion when year changed.

8. Automatic declaration lost after TRS reprocess.

9. Check plug program didn't give accurate error message.

10. NT Q_LOAD errors. While doing inserts on a small index file, q-dex did not detect the file-full status, and continued to fill the disk and sometimes corrupted other indexes after fast load. Normal q-load fixed the problem. Consequently, the Q-LOAD /BACKUP and Q-LOAD /RESTORE have been removed from SRVSTART and SRVSTOP. Will take a bit longer, but is more reliable

11. Some of the E-OF-DAY.BAT labels were more than 8 letters long, which could cause problems to DOS.

12. NT: Different method to open threads. Fix memory overrun when rdir, rcopy, etc activated in rsmsrv.

13. Could give Frequent Shopper value when Vender/Store coupons or Manual price were set. Now it will allow only if parameter 13 on Frequent Shopper Options (6-1-2-5) is set.

14. Cashier privileges lost. When changing cashier privileges on the Back Office, while that cashier is ringing orders at the POST, sometimes the privilege changes were lost.

15. Corrected problems associated with the inadvertent destruction of the store map file, used by Audit45.

16. New chkplug.exe to make it compatible with new POST version.

17. Item movement didn't zero all items (program stopped after 18400 plu records. This only occurred on DOS machines.

18. On NT system: SET_VER didn't update the version number. It returned "Can't write version number!"

19. Y2K bug in the conversion of Charge posting into ASCII file - "C:\\PCMASTER\\CHARGEPO.DAT":

The file is now generated under PCMASTER directory!

When year 2000, the extract date showed "19A#" instead of "200#". - The extract also converted training & void transactions.

20. Monthly Budget Planning Y2K bug: from year 2000 it showed dates with letters ("A0", "C4") and the pushbuttons didn't operate correctly.

21. If a "Not found PLU" transaction (60x01) existed in the transaction file, it kept accumulating to the "PLU not found" file each time the system was Booted.

22. Cashier Locking transaction (Op-code 0x56) wasn't written to transaction file if Cashier Declaration wasn't done prior to the locking.

23. PLU index files building at eod (by PCMBLDKY) got corrupted if the PLU file (PLURELAT.QDX) had corruption in it ("C0" records found among the data records). As a result- PLUs were missing from PLU maintenance. Now PCMBLDKY will delete corrupted records & continue to build the index files.

24. EOD log got filled with error messages "Can't read/write subdep..." if System didn't contain Sub-department file

25. EJ didn't work with 0x20 Store Board Msg: If a ticket had a 20x1c Op-code transaction (Log - Store Board Message)in it - the EJ showed it as a "No Text" ticket.

26. If promotion price is set 0 to display warning "Promotion price is zero".

27. In Discount, Account file options <6,1,2,6> the Parameter - "Check tender daily limits on account, count" was overwritten by "Check tender daily limits on account, amount".

28. In the Member Promotion <1,9> the "Control Check for min purchase" couldn't use the "list" [F8] key.

29. ELDAT: If the fields "Vendor ID" & "Item size" are empty (zero) in the PLU record, then they will be sent as fields filled with spaces to the Eldat system.

30. 'Discount prohibit' flag didn't work properly with PLU parameters (6,1,1,7 p.2 #1-4).
