The
major debit card of Canada only reads Track 2 - never track 1. In the DOS
environment we were able to jumper the MSR to work as track 2 only and
this was successful With WinPoS - the software 'expects' to see Track 1 and then track 2 data - when it encounters ONLY track 2 data the scan of card fails with a scan error. Then because of this error we cannot get the rest of the system to work correctly - like masking the card number i.e. if we get around the scan by key entry. |

After
tendering a credit card and it being accepted by Ingenico payments a
correct receipt is printed. Any following transactions with check tender
sent to Ingenico for approval then prints the credit card ID and
expiration date on the Check tendered transaction receipt. The Seq.#
printed is the Check tender approval from Ingenico. Ingenico's log files
were confirmed to receive and reply to ISS45 with the correct data from
each transaction. Problem was found in Bashas's lab, duplicated in both StoreNext Validation lab in Sunnyvale and in Ingeniclo's lab. |

you do not have the parameter 6,1,2,5 (11) use freq shopper # as member
card number, Catalina only sees 10 digits. Looking at the FC48 record shows the following: With parameter 6,1,2,5 (11) checked 04 00 07 31 39 25 (This is correct) number is 40007313925 With parameter 6,1,2,5 (11) not checked 00 40 00 73 13 92 (This is not correct) number should be 40007313925. |

| Fault 1813 | Bug 01586 stated "Epson printer with two print heads no MICR (90000772) - when customer wishes to print or endorse - ISS45 prompts the customer to place the check in the system incorrectly." In V7.0.8.3_50 the printer (be it 2 or 3 heads) DOES print correctly, BUT it prompts the cashier incorrectly. With a 3 head printer the system prompts - Back, Front. With a 2 head printer the system prompts - Front, Front. A 2 head printer should prompt - Back, Front. In a store with a mixed front end (both 2 and 3 head printers) this is very confusing to the cashiers. |
