Random
dollar error correct gives minus balance due. Set up a PLU as a random dollar 'weighed' with a Frequent Shopper discount of .25cents Scan the item Scan frequent shopper card hit total (customer wants to see his discount) Say NO to get out of tender mode Error correct the item (void last) What will happen is an order with a MINUS balance. This ONLY happens when you scan the Frequent Shopper card in the middle of order. If you do above with the exception of the card being scanned first - all will be well. The customer clerk's are always hitting total in the middle of an order to show customer their discounts - so the lack or voiding the discount is pretty obvious. CATEGORY: Promotion |

When
Safe Locking is done on a Standalone MFS1 the system tries to delete the
old log files on MFS2. It will eventually time out but is annoying with
only 1 MFS to work on. The operating system is Win2000 Professional.
Note:
NT Operating System Only - Win2000 works correctly. |

If
you have an item that is priced as each in the PLU Record, and the cashier
presses 4 and then scans the item, the Winpos does NOT generate an error,
scans only one item and the other 3 are never rang in. In V7.6 DOS, if you
try this, you get a red system box that displays "QTY Key Not
Pressed". We need this in Winpos to prevent free merchandise being
given. |
| WD 2261 | PSI - When voided single item that include 6 packs of the same product ,the amount reduced from the total was equal to only one pack , and not all 6. |
| WD 2262 | PSI - Multiple transaction complete messages are being sent during a transaction. When the message is received the PSI lane pops-up an alert message that says, " Duplicate Transaction Complete Received in this transaction." |
| WD 4442 | PSI - Each line of coupon text in printable coupons is being sent twice. |

The current ISS45 implementation of Charge Posting, requires the cashier to start the transaction as a charge posting transaction. If this occurs, then the transaction will be tax exempt automatically. This is fine if the cashier knows the order is going to be a tax exempt order, and/or she knows that it is going to be a charge posting order. Many times this is not the case. Usually, the cashier doesn't know how the order is going to be paid for until the total key is pressed and she announces the total to the customer. We need the system to access the A/R system during the ISS45 tendering process and look for a tax exempt status flag. If this flag is set to yes, we need the ISS45 system to automatically reduce the sales taxes on all appropriate items, just as if the cashier had pressed the tax exempt key on the keyboard. |

:Bashas' has discovered that if you enter a quantity, say 3, and forget to depress the X's key, only one item rings up. In the older versions of software, like the dos version, the cashier would get an error. This way she knew that she forgot to depress the X key. I checked the control checks and could not find anything that relates to this situation. Note: Same as WD 4478 |
