3 tax rate Illinois - The taxable sale + non-taxable sales + wic sales + foodstamp sales doesn't = net sales. This is partly because when you ring up let's say 10.00 Ltx & FS +10.00 Htx & Ctx & Fs ..The food stamp total comes to 20.00 but customer has only 10.00 left on the ebt food stamp card . The register doesn't charge tax back on the remaining 10.00. |
