ISS45 Version 7.6.0 Patches and Installation + FTP Link

ISS45 7.6.0 and above has a new patch process. This process will provide patches with the numbering scheme of 760.xx where xx = patch number. Fujitsu-ICL has instituted a new tool called Audit45. This tool creates a Master Loadmap located in the Fujitsu-ICL directory of the 7.6.0 software. This load map consists of checksums for all programs with the exception of dynamic files such as .QDX .MFS .AFS and .LFS.

When customers install patches released against 7.6.0, Audit45 will verify the patched program checksums to ensure integrity of the install.

 

How to Install 7.6.0 Patches Audit45 - NT Only
  • 1. Copy the patch to a temp directory
  • 2. Unzip and extract the files to diskette(s)
  • 3. Access README file from each patch and follow directions.

    Note: Most patches will be structured as A:/Install. Please be aware that all changes to POST software will require install at the MFS and then a copy to the POST.
  • A master load map file with corresponding Patches processed through the new patch tool will verify that once patches installed, the new checksums are accurate.

    Before installation of any patches, run Audit45 on your 7.6.0 NT system.

    How to run Audit45:

  • 1) Go to Back Office Server
  • 2) Go to MS Explore
  • 3) Find the /ICL directory
  • 4) Audit45 program will be in this directory
  • 5) Double click and execute Audit45

    Note: Server/MFS can be active at this time. The program will execute and provide one of two screens (Green ICL) successful load of ISS45 or (Red ICL) unsuccessful load and will explain to user the discrepancies of the programs.
