When using the 'PLU Selection Criteria' we cannot select any items that have the "Non-Merchandise" flag.  The Problem : When using the 'PLU Selection Criteria' we cannot select any items that have the "Non-Merchandise" flag.

Scenario:
1. When the value in the FrontOff..PLU table under NON_MDSE_ID = -1 the item is flagged for Non-Merchandise and we are not able to use the PLU Selection Criteria. In the previous versions the value in SQL has always been a 1.

2. I was attempting to do a PLU Selection Criteria based on the Non-Merchandise flags and specific departments. Most likely just a PLU sales report.

Expected Results: Report would show reports of NON-Merchandise items sold during the time requested.

Actual Results: Report is blank.

Supporting 16 Digit Gift Cards and EMV 

The  ISS45 system is not using MTX receipt data when tendering Gift cards but it is using MTX Receipt data for the activations.

Dept Sales Report by cashier the grand total of sales is 30,000 but its just showing #'S 

To recreate:

Reports,
Department Reports,
Department Sales Reports.

When there is over 10,000 for any period, the totals or numbers in the Sales Amount column will show ####'s.

Transcache file count increases on lanes when doing check cashing only at lane. 

1. Run 4 checks which increased it to 90 records

2. Then ring a cash transaction so it reset it to 27 records.

3. Continue to ring transactions and tender with checks, the record has not reset.

4. Ring 1 cash transaction and it reset it back down to 28 records.

SSCO -NCR Fast Lane getting error msgs that items are not found and have had to cold start them in the mornings.

Scenario:

1. Fresh Install of  NCR Fast Lanes

2. Rang a business day, store closed, EOD Ran

3. In the morning, Test scan an item, returned an error "Item not found".

4. Cold Start Lane and works, then store closes, eEOD runs

5. In the morning, Test scan of an item returned an error "Item not found".

Expected Results: Lane would start up morning and work.

Actual Results: Test scan of an item returned an error "Item not found".

Changing an option in Transaction Handling Parameters causes a file init error code 512 at line 275. 

Scenario:
1. Go to the Transaction Handling Parameters application
2. Change one of the option on the screen
3. Press F2 to update
4. Press Enter with [Yes] selected.

Expected Results: The change should save without the error.

Actual Results: Get file init error Line 275 code: 512. The change does save, but the error always show.

Choosing NO to print receipt causes header and logo to be missing from next receipt, when multiple receipts would have printed. I.e. store charge, credit card  If you choose NO to print the receipt when tendering where multi part receipt would print, the next receipt is missing the logo and header.

1. Have a receipt Logo and a receipt Header printing on your receipts.
2. Link the POS to a Checkout Bank that uses Suppress Receipt Printing = Yes/No
3. Set up a tender that will print multi part receipt or multiple receipts – i.e. store charge
4. Ring an item, tender out to the tender you set up – No to print receipt.
5. Ring another item, cash it out – Yes to print receipt. Logo and Header are not printed.

Expected Results: - Next receipt should have header and logo.

Actual Results: Header and Logo are missing from next receipt - printer does not refresh the header

Promotions using PLU Trigger and Not Member Card are given without PLU Trigger. Promotions not requiring a card but requiring a PLU trigger apply without the PLU trigger if a card is scanned at the end of the order. This occurs with reprocess turned off or turned on.

Scenario:
1. Create promotion that will be given with a PLU Trigger - Member Card Not Required
2. Ring Promotion Item then ring PLU trigger - promotion is given.
New Transaction:
3. Ring Promotion Item, do not ring in Trigger Item, press Total
4. Scanning Member Card before tender - promotion is given.

Expected Results: Promotion should not be given if P LU Trigger is not in the transaction

Actual Results: If the Member card is scanned in at the end of the order, the Promotion is given even though the PLU Trigger was never in the transaction.

FCODE 1429 not working as designed in 8170-150.

Scenario:
1. Ring transaction, finalize
2. Reprint transaction using FCODE 1429 (8170-150 only)

Expected Results: REPRINT would print out.

Actual Results: Reprint stops before cashier name prints and does not cut receipt. Next transaction receipt is missing header and logo. The next transaction everything fine.

Cannot interrupt INFO REFRESH after EOD for 24 hour store.

Scenario:
1. EOD Runs and completes
2. 24 hour store, has line of people, cashier logs in and INFO REFRESH starts.

Expected Results: They Interrupt the info refresh so they can ring in customers (once other lanes finish INFO REFRESH, they send people to those lanes so they can have current lane continue the REFRESH

Actual Results: No longer able to interrupt the process, the button does nothing

Target Message Intermittently Showing up on PFS that is not being Used. Target message popping up on PFS when not signed on v8.1.7.0-150 with fuel 1023.2381

On occasion a target message or a "customer details cannot be retrieved" message will appear on the PFS and the PFS will appear to be logged on. When this happens all fuel transaction reporting stops though it does not stop the pumps from working either for pre pays or PAP. The only way to fix this is to cold start the PFS. The PFS is a stand alone lane that no one ever logs on to.

Clear key does not clear Item not Found message 

Must have GSP setting STORE\POST\OPERATIONAL\SCANNING = "Force Department Price Entry on Unknown Items" = NO (to see the "ITEM NOT FOUND" Message).

Scenario:
1. At the POS, enter a ProLogic Member #41177777700.
2. Ring UPC# 1 - Miller Light = $10.00.
3. Get a ProLogic coupon/discount of $1.00.
4. Enter numbers 45284558956 (item NOT in PLU MAINTENANCE).
5. Get "ITEM NOT FOUND, hit 'C' or CLEAR to Continue" Message.
6. Hit 'C' or CLEAR and the message does NOT go away until another item is rung, or ENTER/TOTAL is hit.

Expected Results:
Should be able to hit the CLEAR button to 'clear' the "ITEM NOT FOUND" message.

Actual Results:
Hitting the CLEAR or 'C' button does NOT clear the "ITEM NOT FOUND" message.

Numeric Value in Dynamic Item Attribute Maintenance causing Error 438.

Scenario:

1. Open Dynamic Item Attributes Maintenance
2. Set to Numeric Value
3. Choose any number for the Number of Decimals
4. Error 438 occurs
5. Open PLU Maintenance and Error 438 occurs
6. Delete the Numeric Value setup in Dynamic Item Attributes Maintenance, for the error to stop.

Expected Results: Numeric Value Attribute works with Decimal numbers.

Actual Results: Error 438 is displayed and pops up when opening PLU Maintenance.

Sending price changes from PLU Maint after changing the SA password cause an SQL Error.  After changing the SA password using the ChangeSAPwd.exe,an SQL error in the SQL logs when changing price in PLU Maintenance: "Login failed for user 'sa'.Reason : password did not match that for the login provided.[Client:129.103.2.4]
Error : 18456. Severity : 14, state:8

Scenario:
1. Change the SA password using the ChangeSAPwd.exe
2. Reboot Server
3. Send price down from PLU Maintenance
4. Review SQL logs in SQL Management Studio
5. Error is present.

PLU Inquiries allows Price Changes - No longer Secure 

Use of this feature is optional.

For security reasons, the store may want staff members to go into PLU Maintenance for checking prices, but prohibit them from changing item details. PLU Inquiries enables you to view details on a PLU without being able to edit, add or delete the item.

Scenario:
1. Go into PLU Inquiries and bring up an item to view all it's attributes
2. Enter different Item Number and press Enter
3. Price field has turned white and is ready to accept changes.

#BAR_CODE= option in templates no longer prints a bar code  After upgrading to 8.1.8.0-090 - #BAR_CODE= option in templates no longer prints a bar code when using the GSP, "Template to print customer slip after every X customers".

Scenario:

1. Setup template by adding the #BAR_CODE=(UPC) line
2. Set the GSP for "Template to print customer slip after every X customers" - CUST_SURVY template(template attached)
3. Set GSP, "Print Customer slip after X Customers" - I set this to 1, customer uses 58 either way issue occurs.
4. Rang transaction and cashed out, receipt prints but instead of the barcode showing on receipt, it shows #BAR_CODE=(UPC used)

Keyboard Programming-Entering a Function Number in the Keyboard Functions List, it is very slow to find the number.  When entering a “Function number” in that field, it takes a long time for it to find the number.

For example:

Enter the number “9999”, and the numbers appear very slowly.
It was so slow that a screen shot was able to be taken to just capture the first “9” out of the “9999” that was entered (attached Screen Shot “SlowSearch.png”).
Did this test several times on 4 different MFS (32-Bit and 64-Bit) with the same results.
Hit in “9999” and hit ENTER.
Used a stop watch and timed each test to be 25-30 seconds long before it goes to the end of the file (Screen Shot attached “SlowSearch2.png”).
If during the 25-30 seconds, click the mouse (which icon has disappeared), the message “Keyboard Functions List (Not Responding)”; Screen Shot attached, “SlowSearch3.png”.
Hit “9….” Pausing before each entry and go up to “99999”, it takes about 5-10 seconds before the “High Range Error” message appears.
Hit in “99999” and ENTER fast, it takes a full minute before the “High Range” Error message shows (Screen Shot “SlowSearch4.png”).

Expected Results: Expect that the speed works the same as it did when it was DOS-16 Bit.

Actual Results: Extremely slow with change for 64-Bit.

Call to hook_freq_shopper not working for in 8.1.8.0-090 with SSCO.  POSW32.exe is not recognizing the AM/PM Code in the WINPOS.ini line in version 8180.090 on the SSCO's.

The line that was added into the WINPOS.INI was NCR_SCOT_AMPM=Yes
This worked on version 8.1.7.0-130 but stopped working on 8.1.8.0-090.
Issue occurs when scanning or manually entering a member card.

Online WIC/Cost Plus: Split tender CVB is not calculating the correct price for this scenario.

This is a COST Plus store with online WIC

Scenario:
1. Set up Online WIC with $3.50 benefits for CVB
2. Ring up more than $3.50 in WIC CVB benefits
3. Tender WIC

Expected Results: Transaction should only send the amount of CVB on the card.

Actual Results: Transaction is sent for more than the amount of CVB on the card.

Report is showing the pound symbol instead of the dollar amount. 

Scenario:

Open Cashier Voids and Error Correction Report

Expected Results: Everything looks fine

Actual Results: Numbers on screen show ######## instead of actual amount.

Duplicate Receipts causes the SSCO not to finish the tender of a sale. 

Scenario:

1.　 Set up Duplicate Receipts on Cash tender
2.　 Ring sale
3.　 Tender Cash

Expected Results:　 Sale should finish

Actual Results:　 Sale never finishes without going into assist mode.

Employee scans their loyalty card and when tendering gets POSW32 error and lane crashes. 

Scenario:
1.　 Employee purchases several items at store
2.　 scans in loyalty card
3.　 cashier totals transaction

Expected Results:　 Transaction finalizes and employee gets their discount

Actual Results:　 After tendering, register gets a　 POSW32 error

User should be allowed to enter a new item to add to the group, and the application should not lock up. 

Scenario

1.  Go to PLU group
2.  Attempt to try to add an item that is already linked to the group
3.  An error appears that the item is already linked
4. After clicking OK, the PLU group screen that shows the linked items goes to a blank gray screen
5. When you press the button “add items” the whole application locks up and application needs to be reloaded

Actual Result: The ISS45 Front Office application locks up needs to be reloaded.

Expected Result: You should be allowed to enter a new item to add to the group, and the application should not lock up.

SSCO- % Transaction Discount will not allow greater than 10% discount 

NCR SSCO with TB43 and ISS45 8.1.8.0-90.

Unable to process a Transaction Discount greater than 10% when in Assist Mode.

Attempting to input greater than "10" results in "General Item Error" message and you can try again.

The maximum percentage should be controlled by the addition of the following in scotopts.000:
[Manual Discount]
PercentageLimit=XX (99 is the default and maximum)

The date selection field is all black although the date can be modified it is not visible.
