WinEPS now supports the use of a Pre-Paid Credit BIN file.
Cards identified as Pre-Paid credit will by default to not allowed to be taken offline; this is configurable within the card processing profile. When a Pre-Paid card is declined due to being offline, WinEPS will provide the following decline:

Wait 2 seconds for writing if actlog is locked.  When writing to the actlog, if WinEPS receives a file sharing violation it will retry the write for up to 2 seconds before closing down the engine. This enhancement is designed to assist in situations where a virus scanner or other software temporarily has the actlog open and locked at the time when WinEPS is writing transaction data.

A new indicator has been added to the end of each transaction report line in the Forward Approved Report to indicate the transaction was approved for less than the amount initially requested.

The Discover prefix ranges have been broken up into default profiles of DS (standard Discover) and DC (China Union Pay / Diners Club). The DS profile allows offline processing by default, while the DC profile does not.

Custom Signature Functionality.

A new option for Custom Signature Capture functionality has been implemented for the O - Signature Capture TAC.
If the new option is manually configured, the POS will no longer be able to capture or display signature data provided by OpenEPS for cashier verification. Additionally this new customer functionality requires that the POS use and print the receipt data provided by OpenEPS.
This new Custom Signature Functionality modifies the timing of when a signature is captured during a transaction and is used in conjunction with the placement of the O - Signature Capture TAC.
If the O TAC is placed at the end of the transaction sequence, the new Custom Signature Functionality option will not appear, and the signature capture will occur after the transaction has completed.

EBT Host Decline message.

EBT processing regulations require the host decline message to be displayed to the terminal or printed on the receipt; therefore the receipt text provided by OpenEPS for EBT declines will contain the host-provided decline text, while the cashier and customer displays will use the configured text from the Host response code screen.

WinEPS Fix

Fixed an issue where on an upgrade, clicking 'Back' when it showed the existing folder list would cause the installation to contain as a fresh install.

WinEPS Fix

Corrected an issue where if a Pre-Authorization was taken locally, the final Completion was sent to the host without the required track data. This has been corrected so that the track data is properly provided.

WinEPS Fix

When an offline Purchase was made and Approved, and then Voided, both messages were properly sent to WinEPS; however, while the purchase was showing on the detailed cashier and lane reports, the void was not.
This has been corrected so that both the purchase and void show up properly on the detailed cashier and lane reports.

WinEPS Fix

The upgrade process for WinEPS was incorrectly modifying folder permissions for the EPS folder. The new installation will not change any folder permissions on an upgrade

WinEPS Fix

Addressed an issue where if two transactions enter the engine at the exact same moment in time, one of the transactions would be missed or skipped. This new engine correctly processes every transaction as it reaches the WinEPS server.

WinEPS Fix

eWIC is not supported in WinEPS, and the entries for eWIC were incorrectly added to the GUI. These entries have been removed to avoid confusion.

WinEPS Fix

No Track2 from Pump on WEX Completions Causes Fleet Data Message Error to Host.

In cases where the fuel pump did not supply the Track 2 data on a WEX Fleet Card Completion, the Fleet Data could not be parsed from the Track 2, and thus was not included on the message to the host.
This has been corrected by extracting and storing the required Fleet Data elements during the Pre-Auth, and supplying them on the Completion when necessary.

Update Hosts to decline approvals for $0.

When hosts return a partial approval for $0, WinEPS was incorrectly passing the initial requested amount to the POS. This has been corrected to convert $0 approvals to a MTX->129 decline.

Remove incorrect Discover Prefixes from full install.

WinEPS Fix

Undefined GC Host issue. 

Corrected an issue where a fuel server sent in a Pre-Authorization request for a gift card without having a gift card host defined would cause the engine to stop processing transactions.

OpenEPS Fix

Corrected Issue with Receipt Import.

When WinEPS creates the receipt file at End of Day, it uses the transaction date & time for each record; this was causing importing issues if the lane had the wrong date/time, specifically if the calendar year on the POS lane was incorrect.

OpenEPS Fix

SOAP not uploading lane journal.

Corrected an issue where the lane journals would not correctly upload the journal to WinEPS if FTP was not in use. This has been fixed so that lane journal uploads occur via the new SOAP method.

OpenEPS Fix

Fixed customer language select and credit to debit conversion.

Fixed an issue where a missing an XML tag caused the pin pad to lock up at the customer select language TAC.
