SM2SILPR.EXE SIL Maintenance utility is not processing Host batches properly with alpha characters in the batch number field. The Problem : Host file sent by Warehouse has alpha characters in Batch# field. When we process most or all batch headers are ignored and items are lumped in just a few batches. This leads to confusion at store level as personnel have no guide as to batch contents for applying those batches. Scenario: 1.If we take a SIL file provided by the warehouse and run it through the SIL Processor, (SM2SILpr.EXE, Ver 2.01.02.02) the processor does not break down the batches properly it does not accept Alpha/Numerics in the Batch number. Our previous program ("PFT" version) would handle these batches without problem. Expected Results: The SIL processor should create discrete batches identified and separated by individual batch numbers Actual Results: Batches are undefined and/or ignored altogether. |
