S&H TCP/IP Total Prompt causing missing credits. 

If a store is using S&H TCP/IP Interface and is also set "Enable Total Prompt =Y" the prompt would interfere if multiple credits are sent from S&H after total time.

Additionally, it was found that if any credits which were sent from S&H while the POS was waiting for the cashier entry (such as entering a Manager ID or during a Not Found), would be added to the POS internal QUEUE but would not be issued.

The exception is that the credits would be issued when a Health Message is processed. (Every 30 seconds). 

This record covers the second credit not being issued in the first place.

Scenario:

1.Turn on "Enable Total Prompt"

2.Ring a sale that triggers S&H to send 2 credits @ total ($1320 @ Wall Store produced $99.99 and $20.01)

3.Press Total

4.Press Enter to pass the Total Prompt

5.(Press enter again because of another bug in this version)

Expected Results: Get both $99 and $20 credits

Actual Results: Get only $99 credit

S&H TCP/IP Total Prompt re-displaying when getting credits.

If a store is using S&H TCP/IP Interface and is also set "Enable Total Prompt =Y", the prompt will redisplay if multiple credits are sent from S&H after total time - one time for hitting total and once extra for every credit issued after total.  This would happen for S&H TCP/IP and the old serial interface and the UMI / UCI interface.

Scenario:

1.Turn on "Enable Total Prompt"

2.Ring a sale that triggers S&H to send credits @ total ($1320 @ Wall Store produced $99.99 and $20.01)

3.Press Total

4.Press Enter to pass the Total Prompt

5.Have interface deliver and apply credit to sale

Expected Results: proceed to Tender state

Actual Results: Total Prompt redisplays requiring ENTER to be hit again.

S&H TCP/IP credits being issued multiple times (queue not emptying).

If a store is using S&H TCP/IP Interface and credits are issued at a time when ScanMaster can't apply the credit to the sale, the credit will be applied when a Health Message is processed. (Every 30 seconds) and would reissue every 30 seconds - even though only one credit was earned.

NOTE: This appeared (and is sometimes called) as a bug that the ScanMaster queue is not emptying when the credit is applied.  In actuality, the credit was incorrectly applied to the queue multiple times and the queue was emptying correctly.

Scenario:

1.Turn on "Enable Total Prompt"

2.Ring a sale that triggers S&H to send 2 credits @ total ($1320 @ Wall Store produced $99.99 and $20.01)

3.Press Total

4.Press Enter to pass the Total Prompt

5.(Press enter again because of another bug in this version)

6.Return to Sale

7. Wait 30 seconds at a time

Expected Results: $20.01 credit will appear only once

Actual Results: $20.01 credit will appear again every 30 seconds

S&H TCP/IP Health messages stop after midnight. 

The S&H TCP/IP interface has health messages which are transmitted between the POS and the S&H Brain.  RUUP,  IMUP.  These will be seen after 30 seconds of no communication between the systems.  They can be seen on a signed off register communicating every 30 seconds.  At midnight they stop. 

This issue is suspected as a possible suspect in the POS loosing communication with the S&H system after EOD.

Scenario:

1.Have POS in a Signed-Off state prior to midnight

2.Create F:\GROCERY\FILES\SH.LOG to witness communication in F:\GROCERY\FILES\LOG\SH.(register#)

3.Allow POS to cross midnight

Expected Results: RUUP / IMUP Health messages continue into the next day

Actual Results: RUUP / IMUP Health messages stop until POS is restarted or communication is received from S&H as part of the sale (credits).

S&H TCP/IP Total Time Credits disappear from CID on Return to Sale. 

If a store is using S&H TCP/IP Interface (or S&H Serial or UMI / UCI interface) and credits are delivered after the TOTAL key is pressed, they appear on the CID as normal.  However, if the cashier hits CLEAR to return to sale, the delivered credits disappear from the CID.  They are still part of the sale and are included in the total.

Scenario:

1.Ring a sale that triggers S&H to send credits @ total ($1320 @ Wall Store produced $99.99 and $20.01)

2.Press Total

3.See the credits delivered on the CID

4.Press CLEAR to return to sale

Expected Results: credits still show on the CID

Actual Results: Credits delivered after total are missing from the CID.
