ScanMaster Version 2.7.1-060 Release Table Last updated August 16, 2010 NOTE: Starting with the 2.07.00, ScanMaster patch releases are inclusive of all patches back to the -050 CD release. "The Patch" provides the current and all previous patches; exclusive patches are no longer created. See the table below for a description of the new features provided and faults addressed in this release. Information in this table prior to release is provided in order to assist dealers in their planning, and while they are not commitments, this list represents StoreNext's best view at time of posting regarding highly likely new feature content and faults most likely to be addressed. Printing Instructions: many browsers do not support correct color and format printing directly from the Web. For best results, with your cursor highlight the section of the table you wish to print and copy to the clipboard. Then paste from the clipboard into a blank Word document and print the Word document to a color printer. | ||

Store running with negative in-store charge balances are zeroed when POS comes back online. Store maintain in-store charge accounts with prepaid (negative) balances. When the POS is offline and then comes back online the negative balance is being zeroed out. The statement printing still has the correct balances.
Scenario: 1.Create a new customer. Do a Charge Payment of $100. 2. Run an EOD. 3. Take POS OFFLINE. 4. Ring $5.00, and do an Instore Charge Tender. The correct amount shows on the register screen, but when the receipt prints out, it shows the Previous Balance and New Balance as "(Unavailable)", even though it showed me the correct amounts on the screen. 5. Put POS back online, and do a $5.00 Instore Charge Tender.
Expected Results: The negative balance is not zeroed out and the display should match the receipt. Since POS is offline "unavailable" should display for the new balance also as it does when receipt is printed.
Actual Results: The current balance is zero. The $100 payment is lost |
