Printing Instructions: many browsers do not support correct color and format printing directly from the Web.  For best results, with your cursor highlight the section of the table you wish to print and copy to the clipboard.  Then paste from the clipboard into a blank Word document and print the Word document to a color printer.

Steps to Reproduce

Test Case 1

- Start a transaction.

- Scan a few items.

- Press Pay now and say No on the coupon screen.

- On the payment screen, press the (Redeem coupon) button.

- U-Scan asks you to enter the coupon code.

- Enter an incorrect code, for example (1111). 

Test Case 2

- Start a transaction.

- Scan a few items.

- Press Pay now and say No on the coupon screen.

- On the payment screen, press the (Redeem coupon) button.

- U-Scan asks you to enter the coupon code.

- Enter a PLU code of an item (4011 or 4050).

Actual Result

U-Scan prompts the customer: Please put the ITEM on the scanner and wait.

Test Case 2

U-Scan buys the item or if the item is a weight required or QTY required item, it asks for the weight or QTY of the item and then it buys the item.

Expected Result

Test Case 1

U-Scan should inform the customer that the code that he/she entered for the coupon is not correct. (It shouldn�t say (ITEM)).

Test Case 2

U-Scan should inform the customer that only the code of a coupon can be entered at this level or the code that he/she entered for the coupon is not correct.

Resolution Description

This problem can only be partially fixed, because the robot (Common Genesis) uses Buy-Item to redeem coupons. There is no way to know if the entered number represents a coupon or an item to buy before buying it.

1) If the POS returns a message indicating ITEM_NOT_FOUND, we know it is not a valid coupon number.

2) If the POS returns a message indicating item was bought or weight / quantity is needed, Robot will ask Customer to input quantity or put the item on the scale.

For Test Case 1, I created a new state �PLEASE_WAIT_ATTENDANT_COUPON_PROBLEM� to instruct customer to wait for the attendant.

For Test Case 2, we can do nothing.

The text on the Cashier screen is wrapping to the next line. This will cause extra lines on the attendant than the robot.

This is a new security feature for the Mobile Attendant. If the attendant is assisting a shopper with the Mobile Attendant at one U-Scan lane, an alert will sound if a security violation occurs on another U-Scan lane.
