SlimScan RS-232 Cable Technical Bulletin

Some SlimScan cables may have been shipped that are wired incorrectly.  When the scanner is powered up a continuous beep with the yellow LED blinking can occur or the scanner will sometimes lockup with the yellow LED blinking.  Either condition prevents the SlimScan from operating.  The Hardware Bulletin PSB-01-010 tells you how to deal with the issue.

TeamPoS 2000 Update

Correction to TeamPoS 2000 Bulletin
Please note that Issue 5 of the TeamPoS 2000 Marketing Bulletin (1157 Issue 5) has an error in a part number. A new issue, 1157-5.1corrects the PIN for the 92M Keyboard/ w/Keyboard Display to 53876/004EM from 53876/004M.  Of course, you can get a fresh, clean copy by clicking Reference above and, well, you know the rest.

"I visited the Cosentino's store in Kansas City today that just went live with V7 WinPoS and Microtrax. I'm here to report that the mother and baby are doing fantastic. The Microtrax credit auth is lightning quick -- I'd say it might take 3 seconds max to approve a credit card, probably less. They use a 128 bps frame relay to a switch at the Cosentino's head office. Very, very impressive.

Cosentino's will be rolling-out TP2000/WinPos to 12 stores beginning immediately.  Thanks SO MUCH to everyone that made this happen!"  --  Pat Huston

    7.6 CD-ROM Corruption!

    The new ISS45 7.6 CD may contain duplication flaws that corrupt files associated with the LoadMaker program. This problem was apparently due to defective hardware used in the CD-ROM duplication process. Please see Technical Bulletin 99:4 for resolution.
