ISS45 Code Distribution System (CDS) Host to be Decomissioned 

The CDS host site will close permanently at close-of-business on

Technical: Use USB Keys for ISS45 8181

The new HASP driver for ISS45 starting with 8181-050 (to enable 64-bit) requires the USB version keys.  You probably don't have many of the old parallel HASPs left in the the base, but make sure any 8181 sites have the USB HASPs before you do the upgrade.  See the Technical Bulletin for the record.

Technical: ENCOR Run after Restore

This stored procedure (spRunAfterResture) should be executed when any of the affected databases are restored or attached to SQL Server, and before an ENCOR installation or DeployDB.exe is executed.  Its purpose is to ensure that all users and properties are properly set for each database, and it has been added to several of the ENCOR databases.  This Technical Bulletin provides the information as well as the  the scripts to make it work.

Equinox L5200/L5300 End of Sales

Equinox has announced the end of sales for the L5200 and L5300 payment terminals, which are being replaced by the new Equinox Luxe 8500i terminal. See the Announcement for details.

Technical: PocketOffice Return Code with ISS45

In PocketOffice Item Maintenance, a change to the Return Code field may not save successfully to ISS45.  There are two work-arounds provided in this Technical Bulletin.

Technical: ISS45 QDX Files Fix for Maximum Record Size

Recent ISS45 patches starting with 8.1.8.1 may reset the QDX record size back to the default.  This has been addressed, but see the Technical Bulletin for details.
