User Conference — September 18-21 in Dallas

StoreNext is teaming up with Retalix on a big User Conference in Dallas.  If you haven’t received your hard-copy invitation yet, you will soon — and you can click below for an advance electronic copy.  As you can see, this is not a “product-selling” conference although the StoreNext and Retalix products will certainly be there, including the big Supply Chain and HQ systems from TCI, OMI and IDS that many of your regional chain and wholesaler customers already use.  Meanwhile, there are over 160 workshops, including quite a few created and presented specifically for the Independent Grocer.

Your customers can exchange ideas and suggestions for future product enhancements with other industry executives, as well as management and technical specialists, network with StoreNext and Retalix management with questions, product demos, and the latest product information, talk with key business partners in the Technology Center, network with industry peers and learn new ways to do business, meet with consultants, developers, and support analysts and so forth.

Dealers are “strongly invited!”  In fact, all dealers who bring three of their customers will have their Registration Fees paid by StoreNext.

Route 66: ISS45 7.10.0-050

Whether you're in Chicago, St. Looey, Oklahoma City, Flagstaff Arizona (and don't forget Winona), ISS45 7.10 with its 66 fixes is the way you want to go and this CD-ROM is already en-route to ISS45 Certified dealers from Joplin to San Bernardino.  It's got several new features including  the full integration of the famous "Pepperidge Farm" hook for hi-cone item handling.  And what road would be complete without traffic lights — in this case, the new Red/Yellow/Green signals for the cashier with PocketOffice Remote Manager Authorization, a very slick demo item.  This release will continue to be supported with both Code Distribution and "Inclusive" updates for both Office and POS, so whether you're two-lane or four lane... etc.

One of ISS45 V8's strongest selling points is the Advanced Promotions system.  This system was designed specifically to give independents what they need for the creative merchandising they constantly invent.  Here are two new tools to help you sell this particular feature: First, a new one-page flyer-style sales piece that outlines the capabilities at, say, the 10,000-foot level, then to back it up, a special version of the V8 Manual (street cred with the merchandising folks) that details the promotional capabilities in V8 and how to use them.

By now you should have received your package of the new direct-mail pieces for your dealership's customers and prospects.  Even though most of these grocers will probably not attend FMI in Chicago this year, we've added a bit of "marketing strategy" so these mailers will give you sales value whether or not they're coming to the show.  First and foremost, if they're coming to the show it tells them where they can see your products presented and demonstrated at the StoreNext booth.  But this piece is also crafted as the way you can remind your customers about the great breadth of products you offer - now including ScanMaster and TCI of course - regardless of their plans to attend FMI.  So drop these in the mail to your prospects ASAP to keep your products and capabilities visible.  See also the PDF versions of these in the "Miscellaneous" section of the Brochures and Collateral Page.
