IBM/Toshiba Withdraws SurePOS 300 E4A - New Price Bulletin

               through a configuration puzzle, remind you of George’s Law,

       Our hearts go out to his wonderful family, Betty, his wife of 48 years,

Certification Update for RealPOS 60 and RealPOS 82XRT

The technical bulletin describing the certified configurations for the RealPOS 60 Release 1, RealPOS 60 Release 2 and RealPOS 82XRT POS terminals has been updated.  ISS45 and ScanMaster support the DynaKey+Touch display for DynaKey use, but the software does not currently support "full-touch" on this product.  See the updated bulletin for details.

Solidcore 6.1.3 Certifications

The Solidcore S3 Embedded 6.1.3 CD-ROM was recently provided to all authorized Solidcore Channel Partners in good standing.  It has been certified with the current ScanMaster and ISS45 versions, as well as the current OpenEPS used with Connected Payments.  The Solidcore Certification Matrix provides full information about which Solidcore releases are certified with which versions - and other matrices provide similar certification and compatibility information for other products and platforms.

Microsoft Resale Rights

Unfortunately, there have been no changes in Microsoft's position since the initial announcement below.  All field upgrades to embedded operating systems may be purchased ONLY by end users and ONLY from Microsoft.  All operating system field upgrades have been withdrawn as of July 1, 2014.

Connected Service Report Viewer Not Included
with New Connected Payments Subscriptions

When the new Connected Payments and ServerEPS base prices were announced a few weeks ago, the free Connected Services Report Viewer was no longer included with new Connected Payments subscriptions.  The cost to provide these implementations had become unsustainable, plus it was inconsistent with the ServerEPS offering which never included this Connected Services feature.  So please be aware that the updated Connected Payments price sheet removed the Report Viewer from the offerings when the new pricing was announced.

Price Changes for Connected Payments and ServerEPS

Updated Connected Subscription Agreement

Use this updated Agreement for all Connected Payments and Connected Services subscriptions.  Minor changes only to the ACH form and the Retalix Logo - but get it here anyway or click from the Connected Payments All-In-One Page.

NCR Demo Equipment for Wholesaler Labs

Retalix Channel Partners can now locate demonstration and lab equipment at demo pricing in wholesaler sites as well as a partner's own site.  See the updated demo policy for NCR hardware and contact your Retalix Customer Account Manager (CAM) to get started.  Updates (just minor ones) to the Software License Transfer Policy are also included.

Certifications for RealPOS 60 and RealPOS 82XRT

See this new software technical bulletin describing the certification configurations for the RealPOS 60 and RealPOS 82XRT POS terminals.  Note that this information is for the original RealPOS 60: certification of the RealPOS 60 Release 2 is planned for later this month, December 2013.  There are some important notes provided here for installing successfully with ISS45, so make sure you see this.

Installing ISS45 on NCR RealPOS Terminals

Encryption Now in All Connected Payments; WinEPS 2014 Support

Retalix is now including Point-to-Point hardware encryption with all new Connected Payments subscriptions with no subscription price increases.  There will no longer be an option charge for P2Pe in the Criterion or the "1-2-3" subscription packages.  Just as important, existing subscribers without P2Pe can also add this important feature to their subscriptions at no charge.  This Update also confirms continued WinEPS support for 2014, and the SMS price increase for WinEPS.  See the bulletin for details, and how to update your Connected Payments customers with P2Pe.

Updated ISS45 V7-to-V8 Converter

The V7-V8 Converter has been updated with a new feature that adds support for converting Item History, as well as several fixes.  The converter and its attending documentation is available from the Software Support/Tools and Utilities Page.  The link to the conversion download will also offer the Release Table and the documentation.
